Information we collect about you


We collect information about you when you choose to contact us using the website contact page details, to register as a stockist, or place an order for our products or services.   This information is retained by us only as long as necessary to communicate with you in relation to your enquiries and/or to fulfil orders.  


Payment information


My Painted Bear uses the PayPal Payment Platform to process orders placed through our website shop. You can use your existing PayPal account or, if you do not have a PayPal account, choose the Guest Login facility in order to make payment.   Your order payment is processed securely through the PayPal system or the Bank account you use to pay for your order.  My Painted Bear does not at any point receive your bank details through your website transaction, and is unable to access your Bank or PayPal account, or view your financial details.  


Each time you place an order through the My Painted Bear online shop, we receive, from PayPal the following information:  Buyer name and email address, delivery address and an itemised list of products ordered and their relevant costs.   We require this information so that we can fully process your order.    We do not retain the record of your order on our administrative system any longer than necessary to fully process the order, allowing reasonable time to track orders should any queries arise.

My Painted Bear does not pass on your personal information to any third parties.  Information which you supply to us is retained only for internal processing of your orders and consequent accurate bookkeeping of accounts as required by law. If you are a registered Stockist we may notify you using the contact details you supplied when registering, to inform you of new products available and /or to arrange a visit of our Sales Representative at a mutually agreeable time.
